Vanguard Emperor is a substantial twist-pile carpet created for rooms that need both comfort and dependable everyday performance. The 10mm polypropylene pile gives the floor a soft, welcoming surface, while the closely twisted construction helps maintain a tidy look in regularly used areas.
With a Class 23 heavy-domestic rating, Emperor is suited to more than just quiet bedrooms. Its 1360g/m² pile weight and 12mm overall thickness make it a practical option for lounges, dining rooms, halls, landings and family homes.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and use a suitable quality carpet underlay to provide additional comfort, support and protection. Vanguard Emperor has a secondary backing and is available in 4m and 5m widths. It should be installed by a competent carpet fitter using suitable gripper rods, stretching and joining techniques to achieve a secure, smooth and wrinkle-free finish. The carpet has a 10mm pile height, 12mm total thickness and is classified as Heavy Domestic (Class 23). It is suitable for underfloor heating and occasional-use stairs when installed in accordance with the relevant requirements.
