Vanguard San Marino is a cut-pile carpet that balances a soft 10mm surface with the practical performance needed for a busy home. Its plain-colour range includes both understated neutrals and deeper shades, giving you flexible options for coordinating a room scheme.
Made from 100% polypropylene, San Marino is rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use. The secondary backing, dense 170,000-tufts-per-m² construction and 1350g/m² pile weight provide a well-supported carpet for living areas, bedrooms, stairs and hallways.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and use a suitable quality carpet underlay to provide additional comfort, support and protection. Vanguard San Marino has a secondary backing and is available in 4m and 5m widths, with a 10mm pile height and approximately 12mm total thickness. It should be installed by a competent carpet fitter using suitable gripper rods, stretching and joining techniques to achieve a secure, smooth and wrinkle-free finish. The carpet is classified as Class 23 Heavy Domestic and is covered by 10-year wear and stain warranties.
