For the most comfortable and durable result, fit Lano Serenade over a quality underlay with gripper around the perimeter of the room. Prepare the subfloor so it is clean, dry, smooth and stable, and allow the carpet to acclimatise before fitting.
Lano Serenade is a deep-pile Saxony carpet created for rooms where comfort is the priority. Its soft, full surface gives bedrooms and living spaces an inviting feel, while the simple colour palette makes it easy to build a calm, considered interior around it.
Despite its luxurious appearance, Serenade is made from practical polypropylene and is designed for heavy domestic use. The dense pile and dual backing give it a substantial feel underfoot, making it a great choice for homes that want a plush finish without making day-to-day care difficult.
Lano Serenade is a deep, dual-backed Saxony carpet. Before fitting, inspect the carpet in good natural light for colour consistency and allow it to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed. Confirm the required pile direction before any pieces are cut.
Ensure the subfloor is dry, firm, clean and free from unevenness that could show through the finished carpet. Fit a suitable underlay and gripper system compatible with the subfloor, keeping underlay joints closely butted and smooth.
Lay all widths in the same pile direction. Plan seams carefully, keeping them away from the most heavily trafficked areas wherever possible, and use a suitable joining technique to achieve a secure, discreet finish.
Stretch the carpet evenly onto the gripper, trim accurately at walls and doorways, and fit appropriate transition trims. Make sure stair edges, seams and perimeter sections are secure before the room is used.

Vacuum Lano Serenade frequently using the appropriate setting for a deep Saxony pile. Pay particular attention to entrances, stairs and the areas in front of sofas or beds, as routine removal of loose grit helps the carpet retain its soft, full appearance.
Attend to spills without delay. Blot gently from the outer edge towards the centre with a clean white cloth, rather than rubbing the area. Use a carpet cleaner suitable for polypropylene fibres and test it first on a hidden offcut or inconspicuous area.
Saxony carpets naturally show light and dark shading where the pile has been brushed in different directions. This is a normal characteristic, not a fault. Rotate movable furniture occasionally and use furniture cups under heavier items to reduce indentation marks.
