For the best result, install Sacramento Elite over a suitable carpet underlay using gripper around the room perimeter. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and level before fitting. Vacuum regularly and deal with spills promptly using the appropriate polypropylene carpet-care method.
Condor Carpets Sacramento Elite is a thick, comfortable cut-pile carpet designed for busy homes that want a more luxurious feel. Its 10 mm pile and high pile weight create a fuller finish underfoot, making it a strong choice for living rooms, bedrooms and other spaces where comfort matters.
Made from 100% polypropylene, Sacramento Elite is durable, stain resistant and anti-static. It is suitable for compatible underfloor-heating systems and carries a Class 23 heavy domestic rating, so it is made to handle regular family life as well as everyday household footfall.
The carpet is supplied with a secondary backing and is best installed over good-quality underlay to enhance comfort and support. Available in 4 metre and 5 metre widths, it comes in 18 versatile shades, from pale neutrals through to deeper greys and darker tones.
Acclimatise Condor Sacramento Elite Carpet in the installation room before fitting, maintaining a stable temperature of at least 18°C. Check each roll for the correct batch, colour, width and visible condition prior to cutting. Avoid mixing production batches where colour variation may be apparent.
The subfloor must be dry, clean, level, smooth and structurally stable. Remove dust, grease, paint, old adhesive and loose material, then repair all uneven or weak areas before fitting. Complete any necessary moisture-control work before the carpet is installed.
Sacramento Elite has a secondary backing and can be stretch-fitted over a suitable carpet underlay with perimeter gripper. Select compatible underlay and gripper for the room and expected use, then stretch the carpet evenly so it lies smooth and securely fixed.
Plan seams in advance and seal all joins using a suitable carpet-seaming method. Trim carefully around walls, door frames and fixed items, then use appropriate profiles at thresholds. The range is suitable for compatible underfloor-heating systems; switch heating off for 48 hours before and after installation and keep the finished floor surface below 27°C.

Vacuum Condor Sacramento Elite Carpet regularly to remove grit and dry soil from the deeper cut pile. Focus on busy routes and room entrances, where dirt can become embedded more quickly. Quality barrier matting will help reduce the amount of abrasive debris brought into the home.
Blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth or absorbent towel. Avoid rubbing the pile or using excessive water. If further cleaning is needed, use a product formulated for polypropylene carpet and follow its instructions carefully.
Arrange periodic professional cleaning to remove embedded soil and maintain the carpet’s appearance. Use felt pads or furniture glides where appropriate, and lift heavy furniture instead of dragging it across the surface.
