For the best comfort and appearance, fit Pembridge Twist over a suitable carpet underlay with gripper around the perimeter of the room. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, smooth and secure, then allow the carpet to acclimatise before installation.
Lano Pembridge Twist is a clean, low-profile twist-pile carpet that suits homes looking for an affordable and practical floor finish. Its simple texture keeps rooms feeling tidy and relaxed, while the polypropylene fibres provide an easy-care option for everyday living.
The lighter pile height makes Pembridge Twist a sensible choice where a neat, less bulky carpet is preferred. It works particularly well in bedrooms, dining rooms and lower-traffic living spaces, offering comfortable coverage without the cost or depth of a heavier pile.
Lano Pembridge Twist is a 100% polypropylene twist-pile carpet supplied with dual backing. Check the roll for colour consistency, visible defects and the correct dimensions before cutting. Allow the carpet to acclimatise in the installation area before fitting.
The subfloor must be clean, dry, level and sound. Install a suitable carpet underlay and perimeter gripper appropriate to the floor construction, ensuring the underlay is fitted smoothly with tight, non-overlapping joints.
Plan the layout so all carpet lengths run in the same pile direction. Position joins carefully, avoiding major traffic routes where possible, and use a suitable seaming method to create secure, tidy connections.
Stretch the carpet evenly onto the gripper, trim the perimeter accurately and secure thresholds with an appropriate finishing profile. Check that all seams, edges and stair sections are firmly held before the area is brought into use.

Vacuum Pembridge Twist regularly, particularly around entrances, stairs and frequently used seating areas. Removing dry soil early helps prevent it becoming embedded in the pile and keeps the carpet looking neater between deeper cleans.
Deal with spills as soon as possible by gently blotting with a clean, white absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the spill or disturb the twist-pile surface. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous offcut first and follow the cleaner manufacturer’s instructions.
Use carpet protectors beneath heavy furniture where appropriate, and lift rather than drag furniture when rearranging a room. Periodic professional cleaning can help refresh the carpet in busy households.
