For the best finished result, install Affection Twist over a suitable carpet underlay with gripper fitted around the room perimeter. Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, clean, smooth and stable, then allow the carpet to acclimatise in the room before fitting.
Vanguard Affection Twist is a soft, substantial twist-pile carpet designed for comfortable everyday living. Its 100% polypropylene pile gives the range a practical, easy-care character, while the 10mm pile brings a welcoming feel to bedrooms, lounges and other spaces where comfort matters.
With a heavy-domestic performance classification, Affection Twist is made for the demands of an active home. The dense 1350g/m² pile and secondary backing create a durable, well-supported carpet that combines a modern appearance with reassuring everyday performance.
Vanguard Affection Twist has a secondary backing and should be installed over a suitable quality carpet underlay to provide additional comfort, support and protection. The carpet is available in 4m and 5m widths and should be fitted by a competent carpet installer using the appropriate installation method, with gripper rods and suitable joining techniques where required. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and allow the carpet to acclimatise where appropriate. Take care when handling and cutting the 12mm-thick carpet to achieve accurate seams and a secure, wrinkle-free finish. The carpet is classified for heavy domestic use and is suitable for stairs with occasional use. Always follow the latest manufacturer’s fitting and care recommendations.
