Vanguard Solstice is a dense twist-pile carpet created for homes that want a softer, fuller surface without losing everyday practicality. Its 10.5mm pile brings depth and comfort to a room, while the extensive choice of neutral and earthy shades makes it easy to build into different interior styles.
The range is made from 100% polypropylene and is rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use. With a 1760g/m² pile weight, dual backing and 13.5mm overall thickness, Solstice is well suited to frequently used living spaces as well as quieter bedrooms.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and use a suitable quality carpet underlay to provide additional comfort, support and protection. Vanguard Solstice has a dual backing and is available in 4m and 5m widths, with a 10.5mm pile height and approximately 13.5mm total thickness. It should be installed by a competent carpet fitter using suitable gripper rods, stretching and joining techniques to achieve a secure, smooth and wrinkle-free finish. The carpet is classified as Class 23 Heavy Domestic and is suitable for underfloor heating when installed in accordance with the relevant requirements. Always follow the latest manufacturer’s fitting recommendations and warranty conditions before installation.

Vacuum regularly using a suitable carpet vacuum to remove dust and loose dirt, taking care around the 10.5mm pile. Treat spills and stains promptly using a suitable carpet cleaning product and follow the product manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid excessive moisture, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning methods that could damage the carpet fibres or backing.
