Apply to a sound, dry, smooth subfloor that is free from dust, grease and other contaminants. Use a suitable trowel to spread the adhesive evenly, fit the floor covering within the working time and press or roll it firmly into position. Always follow the floor-covering manufacturer’s fitting guidance.
STYCCOBOND F44 is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive for compatible vinyl floor coverings. It provides strong early grab and develops a durable bond, helping installers position sheet or tile flooring accurately.
The 2.5-litre pack is a useful choice for medium-sized rooms and repair work. Its long open time gives additional flexibility when fitting vinyl, rubber and selected textile-backed floor coverings over a correctly prepared subfloor.
STYCCOBOND F44 2.5L is a high-bond, solvent-free adhesive for compatible vinyl sheet and tile floorcoverings. It may also be used with suitable rubber flooring and some textile finishes with PVC or polyurethane-foam backings.
Check that the subfloor is dry, level, structurally sound and free from dust, grease, laitance and loose material. Use the appropriate preparation products where needed, and confirm compatibility between the adhesive and the selected flooring.
Apply F44 evenly with a 1.5mm x 5mm notched trowel. Install the floorcovering within the stated open time, working it firmly into the adhesive and rolling as required to remove air and achieve full contact.
At 20°C, the adhesive provides an open time of up to 60 minutes; actual working time depends on temperature, humidity and subfloor absorbency. Allow approximately 4m² of coverage per litre when using the recommended trowel.

Before the adhesive cures, remove any accidental residue from tools and nearby surfaces. Keep the fitted floor protected from site traffic, rolling loads and wet cleaning while the adhesive bond develops.
For ongoing care, use the cleaning routine specified by the floorcovering manufacturer. Promptly clean spillages and avoid introducing excess water at sheet seams, tile joints and perimeter details.
