Before installation, check the finished floor levels and measure the opening accurately. Cut the profile with suitable tools, place it so the carpet edge is neatly finished, then fix it securely using the correct method for the subfloor.
The Single Edge Silver doorbar is designed to provide a clean, protective finish where carpet meets a hard floor covering. It sits neatly at an internal doorway, helping to define the transition and give the carpet edge a more secure, completed appearance.
Its silver finish is a versatile choice for modern interiors and coordinates naturally with chrome or stainless-steel fittings. The 2.7m length offers flexibility for long thresholds, open-plan transitions or several smaller doorway installations.
This 2.7m silver single-edge profile is intended to provide a clean finish where one floorcovering edge meets a doorway or adjoining surface. Before fitting, check that the trim is appropriate for the flooring thickness, edge detail and transition height.
Measure the installation area accurately and cut the profile with a suitable tool for metal trims. Dry-fit it first to confirm that it sits straight, protects the flooring edge and does not obstruct the door.
Prepare the subfloor or fixing surface so it is clean, dry and stable. Secure the doorbar using the appropriate fixing method for the trim and subfloor, ensuring it is fully supported and aligned along its length.

Clean the Single Edge Silver 2.7m doorbar with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Remove loose dirt from the trim and the adjoining floor edges during routine cleaning to keep the doorway transition neat.
Do not use abrasive pads, aggressive chemicals or sharp metal tools, as they can scratch the silver-coloured finish. Inspect the profile and its fixings periodically, especially in busy areas, and repair any movement or damage promptly.
