Use only on a subfloor that is dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound. Spread the adhesive evenly with the appropriate trowel, install the floor covering within the working time and roll it thoroughly to ensure full contact. Refer to the floor-covering manufacturer’s installation instructions before fitting.
STYCCOBOND F44 is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive formulated for compatible vinyl floor coverings. It provides a secure wet-lay bond with strong initial tack, helping sheet and tile flooring settle accurately into position.
The 5-litre size is suitable for room-sized installations and ongoing flooring work. Its generous open time gives installers practical flexibility when working with vinyl, rubber and selected textile-backed floor coverings.
STYCCOBOND F44 5L is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive designed for compatible vinyl sheet and tile flooring. It is also suitable for selected rubber floorcoverings and some PVC- or polyurethane-foam-backed textile floorcoverings.
Prepare the subfloor so it is clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound. Remove dust, grease, loose material, laitance and other contaminants, and ensure any necessary smoothing or moisture-control work has been completed before adhesive application.
Use a 1.5mm x 5mm notched trowel to spread the adhesive consistently across the floor. Fit the floorcovering within the open time, then apply appropriate pressure or rolling to achieve full adhesive transfer and release trapped air.
At 20°C, the adhesive has an open time of up to 60 minutes, subject to ambient conditions and subfloor absorbency. Coverage is approximately 4m² per litre with the recommended trowel. Refer to the F. Ball STYCCOBOND F44 product information before installation.

Keep the completed floor protected while STYCCOBOND F44 develops its bond. Avoid moving furniture, allowing heavy traffic or carrying out wet cleaning until the adhesive has cured sufficiently.
After installation, maintain the final vinyl, rubber or textile floorcovering as specified by its manufacturer. Use suitable cleaners, clear spills promptly and take care around joints and floor edges.
