The Carpet Cover Silver 0.9m is a screw-down trim for joining two carpeted areas with a clean, secure finish. It neatly covers the carpet edges at doorways and internal transitions, helping to protect the join and give the installation a professional appearance.
Angled ribs beneath the profile grip into the carpet pile as the strip is screwed down, pulling both carpet edges together and helping to hold them in position. The silver finish offers a simple, versatile look that works well with modern interiors, chrome door furniture and cooler-toned flooring accessories.
Measure the carpet join and cut the 0.9m profile accurately to the required length. Use suitable metal-cutting tools and smooth any sharp cut edges before handling or fitting.
Set the carpet cover centrally over the join between the two carpeted areas. Make sure both carpet edges are neatly positioned beneath the profile and that the underside ribs engage evenly with the pile.
Mark the fixing points and secure the strip with suitable screws for the subfloor. Where fixing into concrete or masonry, drill and use appropriate plugs. Tighten the screws evenly to hold the trim flat without deforming it.
Check the finished threshold for a secure, level fit and make sure there are no raised edges that could catch footwear. Use colour-matched screws where supplied.

Clean the silver carpet cover with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner when needed. Dry it afterwards to prevent water marks and retain a neat appearance.
Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or strong chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or discolour the surface. Check the strip occasionally for loose screws, lifted edges or damage caused by heavy traffic.
If the profile becomes bent or no longer sits flat, replace it rather than leaving an uneven doorway transition.
