Fit Villamoura over a suitable carpet underlay with gripper around the perimeter to support the pile and improve comfort. Before installation, ensure the subfloor is dry, clean, smooth and secure, and allow the carpet to acclimatise in the room.
Villamoura is a deep twist-pile carpet that brings a softer, more enveloping feel to domestic rooms. With a 13mm pile, it is particularly suited to spaces where comfort is as important as the finished appearance, such as bedrooms and relaxed living areas.
The 100% polypropylene fibre is paired with a secondary backing and a Class 23 heavy-domestic rating. This gives the range the specification for busy household areas, while its 1480g/m² pile weight and 15mm total thickness provide a substantial underfoot finish.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and use a good-quality carpet underlay for improved comfort, support and durability. Villamoura has a secondary backing, a 13mm pile height and approximately 15mm total thickness, and is available in 4m and 5m widths. Installation should be carried out by a competent carpet fitter using suitable gripper rods, stretching and joining techniques to achieve a secure, smooth and wrinkle-free finish. Always follow the latest manufacturer’s fitting recommendations and warranty requirements.

Vacuum regularly with a suitable carpet vacuum, concentrating on high-traffic areas, and treat spills promptly using an appropriate carpet cleaning product. Avoid excessive moisture, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning methods that could damage the fibres or backing. The carpet is covered by a 10-year domestic and 10-year stain warranty.
