For the best level of comfort and support, fit Star Twist Supreme over a suitable carpet underlay with gripper around the room perimeter. The subfloor should be dry, clean, smooth and stable, and the carpet should be allowed to acclimatise before fitting.
Lano Star Twist Supreme is a practical, comfortable twist-pile carpet designed for busy homes. It has a softer, fuller feel than a standard low-pile carpet, yet remains manageable for everyday living thanks to its bleach-cleanable polypropylene fibres.
The range combines a tidy twist finish with a heavy-domestic rating, making it a reliable all-round option for bedrooms, lounges, hallways and family spaces. Its dual backing adds stability during fitting, while the 10 mm overall thickness provides a comfortable layer underfoot.
Lano Star Twist Supreme is a tufted twist-pile carpet with secondary backing. Check the material before installation to confirm the colour, size and overall condition. Allow it to rest in the room where it will be fitted so it can acclimatise before cutting begins.
The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth and stable. Install a suitable underlay and gripper system for the substrate, ensuring the underlay lies flat and its joints meet neatly without overlapping.
Before making any cuts, plan the carpet direction carefully. All widths should run in the same direction to maintain a consistent appearance. Minimise joins where possible and keep seams out of principal walking routes.
Stretch the carpet evenly onto the gripper, finish the edges cleanly and secure doorway transitions with suitable trims. Check all joins, perimeter edges and stair sections carefully before the finished area is used.

Keep Star Twist Supreme looking its best by vacuuming routinely, giving particular attention to entrances, stairs and other high-use sections. Regular removal of loose dust and grit helps the twist pile remain tidy and comfortable underfoot.
If a spill occurs, act quickly and blot it with a clean white cloth or paper towel. Avoid vigorous scrubbing, which can spread the mark and roughen the pile. Choose a cleaning product suitable for polypropylene carpet and always test it on an offcut before treating a visible area.
For everyday protection, use furniture cups beneath heavy items and avoid dragging furniture across the carpet. A periodic professional clean can be helpful where the carpet receives sustained household traffic.
