Ideal Dublin Twist is a comfortable, budget-friendly twist-pile carpet designed for everyday family living. Its neatly textured cut pile gives rooms a warm, relaxed feel, while the practical polypropylene fibres make it a sensible option for homes where spills and daily foot traffic are part of normal life.
Available in a balanced choice of neutral, grey, blue and warm-toned shades, Dublin Twist is easy to coordinate with both traditional and contemporary interiors. It is a medium-domestic carpet, so it is well suited to bedrooms, lounges, halls and stairs where comfort matters just as much as value.
Ideal Dublin Twist is a 100% polypropylene cut-pile carpet for general domestic use. Check the backing supplied before installation, as felt-backed and secondary-backed versions may require different fitting methods.
Allow the carpet to acclimatise in the room before fitting. The subfloor should be clean, dry, smooth and secure, with any uneven areas corrected before installation. Inspect the carpet before cutting to confirm the correct colour, width and condition.
A felt-backed version may be fitted directly to a suitable prepared subfloor or installed using the method recommended by the carpet manufacturer. A secondary-backed version is normally fitted over a suitable underlay with perimeter gripper, or fully bonded where the project specification requires it.
Plan cuts and joins carefully, keeping seams to a minimum and away from the most heavily used areas where possible. Stretch or secure the carpet evenly, trim the perimeter neatly and fit suitable finishing trims at doorways.
