Vanguard Manhattan Saxony is a deep-pile carpet for rooms where a softer, fuller floor finish is the priority. Its 20mm pile creates an inviting feel underfoot, while the neutral colour palette gives plenty of scope for relaxed bedrooms and well-finished living spaces.
The carpet is made from 100% polypropylene and carries a Class 23 heavy-domestic rating, combining comfort with the specification needed for frequently used areas of the home. A substantial 2800g/m² pile weight and secondary backing complete its luxurious, weighty feel.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound and suitably prepared before installation, and use a suitable quality carpet underlay to provide additional comfort, support and protection. Vanguard Manhattan Saxony has a secondary backing and is available in 4m and 5m widths, with an approximately 20mm pile height and 22mm total thickness. It should be installed by a competent carpet fitter using suitable gripper rods, stretching and joining techniques to achieve a secure, smooth and wrinkle-free finish. The carpet is classified as Class 23 Heavy Domestic and is suitable for use throughout the home.
