Allow the flooring to acclimatise before fitting, measure and cut carefully, then use the installation method and adhesive recommended for the room, subfloor and sheet-vinyl application.
Vanguard Celestial Cushion Vinyl combines practical everyday flooring performance with a broad choice of wood, marble and stone-inspired designs. The 2.5mm cushioned construction gives the floor a softer feel than a standard thin vinyl sheet, making it a considered option for rooms used throughout the day.
Its 0.25mm wear layer and Class 23 heavy-domestic classification make Celestial suitable for active homes, with additional scope for light commercial interiors. The range also achieves R11 slip resistance and 18dB impact-sound reduction, bringing useful performance benefits alongside its decorative finish.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound, smooth, level and free from dust, grease and other contaminants before installation. The flooring should be accurately measured, cut and installed by a competent flooring professional using an appropriate installation method, such as full adhesive bonding, in accordance with the flooring and adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Allow the vinyl to acclimatise as recommended, ensure seams and edges are properly secured, and avoid creases, trapped air or tension during fitting. Vanguard Celestial is 2.5mm thick with a 0.25mm wear layer, 18dB impact-noise reduction and R11 slip resistance. It is suitable for underfloor heating when installed in accordance with the relevant requirements. Available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths. Vanguard Celestial Cushion Vinyl is designed for heavy domestic and light commercial use and has a durable, easy-care surface. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust and loose dirt, and clean using a lightly damp mop with a suitable vinyl floor cleaning product. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive water, steam cleaning or sharp objects that could damage the surface or wear layer. Use suitable protective pads beneath furniture and avoid dragging heavy items across the flooring.
