Vanguard Terra Firma is a stone and tile-effect cushion vinyl collection that gives practical rooms a more grounded, architectural finish. The mix of concrete, limestone, decorative tile and mosaic-inspired designs makes it well suited to interiors that need more visual character than a plain floor.
Its 2.8mm heterogeneous PVC construction provides a cushioned surface that is comfortable for everyday use. Terra Firma is rated Class 22 for medium domestic areas, with a 0.2mm wear layer, R10 slip resistance and 18dB impact-sound reduction.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound, smooth and suitably prepared before installation, removing dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants. Vanguard Terra Firma has a PVC backing and should be accurately measured, cut and installed by a competent flooring professional using a suitable installation method and compatible adhesive where required. Ensure the vinyl is laid flat without creases, trapped air or excessive tension, with seams and edges properly secured. The flooring is 2.8mm thick, provides 18dB impact-noise reduction and is available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths with 30m roll lengths. It is suitable for underfloor heating when installed in accordance with the relevant requirements. Always follow the latest manufacturer’s installation guidance before fitting.

Vanguard Terra Firma Cushion Vinyl is a practical, low-maintenance flooring solution designed for general domestic use, with a durable 0.2mm wear layer and R10 slip resistance. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust and loose dirt, then clean with a lightly damp mop using a suitable vinyl floor cleaning product. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive water, steam cleaning and sharp objects that could damage the surface. Use suitable protective pads beneath furniture and avoid dragging heavy items across the floor.
