Altro ContraX is a dependable safety vinyl floor for busy areas where the occasional spill is part of everyday life. It is a practical choice for corridors, entrances, classrooms, staff areas and other commercial spaces that need a hard-wearing floor without stretching the budget.
At 2mm thick, ContraX is made to handle regular foot traffic while providing extra reassurance underfoot. Its PTV rating of 36 or above and R10 slip resistance make it suitable for areas where water or light spillages may occur. It is not intended as a specialist wet-room floor, but it works very well in general commercial spaces where a traditional safety floor is needed.
The range is available in 12 colours, giving you enough choice to create a clean, professional look in schools, offices, healthcare settings and public buildings. It is easy to maintain, durable in use and a sensible option for projects where safety, performance and value all matter.
For the best finish and long-term performance, Altro ContraX should be fitted on a smooth, properly prepared subfloor by an experienced flooring installer. Avoid using rubber-backed mats or unsuitable cleaning products, as these can mark or affect vinyl flooring over time.
