Install STOPGAP ISOLATOR MEMBRANE in line with the manufacturer’s system instructions before applying the adhesive. Spread F47 evenly using the appropriate trowel, allow it to dry to a tacky film and then fit the sheet vinyl. Do not use where RH exceeds 92% or where mechanical fixings will penetrate the adhesive film and membrane.
STYCCOBOND F47 is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive adhesive designed specifically for securing sheet vinyl over STOPGAP ISOLATOR MEMBRANE. It dries to a permanently tacky film and provides a reliable bond where the measured subfloor relative humidity does not exceed 92%.
The 15-litre pack is suited to larger moisture-management flooring projects. Its pale-blue acrylic emulsion formulation has strong plasticiser resistance and is suitable for normal underfloor heating systems.
STYCCOBOND F47 15L is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for securing sheet vinyl floorcoverings onto STOPGAP ISOLATOR MEMBRANE. It dries to a permanent tacky film and has high resistance to plasticiser migration.
Check that the moisture condition of the subfloor is suitable for the system: F47 is intended for use where relative humidity does not exceed 92%. If this limit is exceeded, or if mechanical fixings will penetrate the adhesive film and membrane, use the alternative system specified by F. Ball.
Lay the ISOLATOR MEMBRANE correctly before applying F47. Spread the adhesive evenly with the trowel suited to the installation, then allow it to dry to a tacky film before positioning the sheet vinyl. Press or roll the flooring into place to achieve full contact.
At 20°C, drying normally takes around 60 minutes, subject to temperature and humidity. Coverage is approximately 3m² per litre with a fine-notch trowel or 5m² per litre with a 1.5mm x 5mm trowel.
