Use on a subfloor that is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease and loose debris. Spread the adhesive evenly with the recommended trowel, install the floor covering within the working time and press or roll it firmly into place. Confirm compatibility with the floor-covering manufacturer before installation.
STYCCOBOND F48 PLUS is a high-temperature, fibre-reinforced adhesive for compatible vinyl and rubber floor coverings. It is designed for installations exposed to strong sunlight and higher temperatures, helping maintain adhesion where solar gain could affect a standard vinyl adhesive.
The compact 5-litre pack is useful for smaller high-exposure rooms and repair work. It dries quickly, has strong initial grab and offers resistance to both heat and PVC plasticisers.
STYCCOBOND F48 PLUS 5L is a solvent-free, fibre-reinforced adhesive for compatible plasticised PVC and rubber floorcoverings in sheet or tile form. Its heat and plasticiser resistance makes it a suitable option for rooms exposed to strong sunlight or elevated temperatures.
Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, smooth, sound and free from contamination. Suitable surfaces include concrete, sand/cement screeds, compatible smoothing compounds, plywood and hardboard. Where non-absorbent backgrounds are present, follow the specified preparation method before applying adhesive.
Spread F48 PLUS evenly using an A2 or 1.5mm x 5mm notched trowel. The floorcovering can normally be fitted from around five minutes after application, with up to 30 minutes of open time at 20°C. Roll the installed material as required to ensure complete transfer and contact.

After fitting, keep the floor free from heavy loads, furniture movement and wet cleaning while the adhesive bond develops. Remove uncured adhesive from tools and adjacent finishes promptly, following the product guidance.
Once the floor is ready for use, follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions for the selected vinyl or rubber floorcovering. Clean spills promptly and avoid excessive moisture at seams and perimeter edges.
