The permanently elastic bond allows the flooring system to accommodate natural movement, while remaining suitable for normal underfloor heating systems.
One-component SMP adhesive that is solvent-free, isocyanate-free and non-flammable. It can be applied directly to cured STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes within 24 hours.
Once installed correctly, the flexible adhesive provides a durable bond designed to maintain flooring stability during normal use and cleaning conditions.

The subfloor must be smooth, dry, structurally sound and free from dust, grease and loose material. Use the trowel notch specified for the flooring being installed, apply only the amount of adhesive that can be covered within its open time, and press the timber firmly into place. Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s installation guidance.
STYCCOBOND B95 is a one-part, flexible wood-flooring adhesive for securely bonding engineered boards, solid planks and wood strip flooring. Its elastic bond is designed to accommodate the natural movement of timber while providing dependable long-term adhesion.
This moisture-curing, SMP-based adhesive is quick-setting, solvent-free and isocyanate-free. Supplied in a 15kg tub, it offers a practical solution for professional wood-floor installations over prepared internal subfloors.
STYCCOBOND B95 is a high-performance, elastic, SMP-based adhesive for engineered boards, solid planks and wood-strip flooring. It is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating systems and can be applied directly to compatible STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes.
The subfloor must be structurally sound, smooth, dry and clean. Suitable backgrounds include STOPGAP smoothing compounds, concrete, sand/cement screeds and a minimum 6mm flooring-grade WBP plywood. Sound asphalt and other non-absorbent surfaces require a minimum 3mm skim of a suitable STOPGAP smoothing compound.
Spread the adhesive evenly with the correct notched trowel, then install the wood flooring within its open time of up to 20 minutes. Press the boards firmly into the adhesive bed and maintain the expansion allowance specified by the flooring manufacturer around walls and fixed features.
Typical consumption is approximately 800g/m² with a B3 or 3mm x 6mm trowel, or 1000g/m² with a B11 trowel.

Remove uncured STYCCOBOND B95 from tools and surrounding surfaces promptly, following the manufacturer’s cleaning guidance. Once the wood floor is fitted, protect it from traffic, moisture and heavy loads until the adhesive has fully cured.
After curing, follow the maintenance requirements for the selected wood floor. Use suitable wood-floor cleaning products and avoid excessive water, as the care of the finished surface is determined by the flooring manufacturer.
