Before fitting, make sure the floorcovering has been properly coved and trimmed and that the wall is clean, dry and smooth. Select an adhesive suitable for the PVC profile and the substrate, then fit the capping strip carefully along the upper edge of the flooring for a straight, consistent finish.
Quantum ZQCC1 is a PVC capping strip for finishing resilient flooring where it is continued up the wall. It sits at the top edge of the raised floorcovering, creating a clean line that completes the cap-and-cove detail.
Supplied in a 2m length, it is designed for internal flooring installations and is a practical addition to compatible Quantum PVC accessory systems. The profile helps give the perimeter a neat, finished appearance in spaces where easy maintenance matters.
Quantum ZQCC1 is a PVC capping strip supplied in 2m lengths for internal resilient-floor installations. It is used to finish the upper edge of flooring that has been dressed up the wall, creating a clean line at the top of a cap-and-cove detail.
Ensure the wall surface, floorcovering edge and fixing area are dry, clean, smooth and free from dust, grease or loose material. Measure each run carefully and dry-fit the profile before applying adhesive.
Use a suitable contact adhesive, following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions for application rate, open time and bonding. Position the capping strip evenly over the top flooring edge and press it firmly into place without gaps or distortion.
Complete any associated coving, seam welding and wet-area sealing in accordance with the flooring manufacturer’s installation guidance.

Clean the Quantum ZQCC1 Capping Strip as part of the routine care of the wall and resilient floor finish. Use a soft cloth or mop with a mild cleaner suitable for PVC, avoiding residue build-up along the upper flooring edge.
Do not use abrasive pads, strong solvents or sharp scraping tools, as these can mark the strip or damage the flooring detail beneath it. Periodically check corners, joins and frequently washed areas to make sure the profile remains securely fixed.
