Internal use
Fit only to clean, dry, smooth and sound surfaces. Use a contact adhesive suitable for the substrate and PVC profile, ensuring the skirting is positioned accurately before the resilient floorcovering is installed. Refer to the floorcovering manufacturer’s guidance for the complete wall and floor specification.
Quantum Q150 50 2 SI is a 150mm flexible set-in skirting profile for resilient flooring systems. It is designed to form a strong, neatly integrated perimeter finish where the flooring rises up the wall, helping protect the lower wall area while giving the installation a clean, commercial look.
The profile is made from PVC and matched to 2mm resilient floorcoverings. Its taller 150mm height is particularly useful where more substantial wall protection or a pronounced coved skirting detail is required.
Quantum Q150502SI is a 150mm high, 2mm gauge flexible PVC set-in skirting supplied in 2m lengths. It is designed for compatible resilient flooring to be fitted into the profile and welded at the junction.
Make sure the wall and floor are clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound before fitting. Measure and cut the skirting accurately, planning all corners, doorway returns and end details before adhesive is applied.
Install the compatible vinyl or lino flooring into the set-in section, then complete the welded joint where specified to create a durable sealed perimeter.
Finish transitions with appropriate trim profiles and prevent heavy use until the adhesive has reached full cure.

Quantum Q150502SI Set-In Skirting should be cleaned as part of the completed resilient-flooring installation. Use a soft cloth or mop and a mild compatible cleaner to keep the skirting and perimeter junction free from dirt and residue.
Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents and sharp scraping tools that could damage the PVC or the welded connection to the flooring. Inspect the skirting regularly for loose edges, split welds or impact damage.
In areas subject to frequent wet cleaning, repair any damage promptly to help retain a sealed, easy-clean finish.
