Application
Suitable for straight internal wall runs
Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry and smooth before fitting. Once the floorcovering has been coved and trimmed, apply a suitable contact adhesive and position the QCC2 carefully along the upper edge for a straight, continuous finish.
Quantum QCC2 is a rigid PVC capping strip for completing resilient flooring that has been coved up the wall. It sits over the trimmed upper edge of the floorcovering, producing a crisp, well-defined finish at the top of the skirting detail.
The rigid profile is suitable for straight wall runs in internal commercial installations. Used with compatible cove former and flooring systems, it helps create a tidy perimeter that is easier to clean and maintain.
Quantum QCC2 is a rigid PVC capping strip supplied in 2m lengths. It is intended for internal resilient-floor installations, finishing the top edge where the floorcovering is dressed up the wall as part of a cap-and-cove detail.
Ensure the substrate, wall surface and flooring edge are clean, dry, smooth and free from dust or loose material. Measure the run carefully and cut the profile accurately before applying adhesive.
Fix the strip using a compatible contact adhesive, following the adhesive manufacturer’s coverage, open-time and bonding instructions. Position it evenly so the floorcovering edge is covered without gaps, pressure points or distortion.
Where required, complete coving, seam welding and waterproofing details in accordance with the flooring manufacturer’s installation guidance.

Clean the Quantum QCC2 Rigid Capping Strip as part of the normal floor and wall-cleaning routine. Use a soft cloth or mop with a mild cleaner suitable for PVC and the adjoining resilient floorcovering.
Do not use abrasive scourers, strong solvents or sharp tools, as these can scratch the profile or damage the finished flooring edge. Check periodically that the strip remains firmly bonded, particularly around doorways, corners and areas subject to frequent cleaning.
A clean, secure capping strip helps retain a neat, easily maintained floor-to-wall finish.
