Fit to clean, dry and sound wall surfaces once the floorcovering is in place. Cut the profile accurately, check the alignment around corners and secure it using a suitable contact adhesive. Follow Quantum’s installation guidance and the flooring manufacturer’s recommendations for the complete system.
Quantum Q150 SO is a 150mm flexible sit-on skirting designed to finish the join between walls and resilient floorcoverings. Installed over the edge of the completed floor, it provides a clean perimeter detail while helping protect lower wall areas from everyday marks and knocks.
The PVC profile is particularly suited to internal commercial settings where a taller, practical skirting finish is needed. Its flexible construction helps it follow wall runs neatly, making it a useful choice for vinyl and other resilient flooring projects.
Quantum Q150 SO is a flexible 150mm PVC sit-on skirting supplied in 2m lengths. It is fitted on top of compatible resilient flooring to cover the wall-to-floor join and create a durable perimeter finish.
Ensure the wall and finished floor are clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, grease or loose material. Measure and cut the profile carefully, allowing for corners, returns and end details.
Apply a compatible contact adhesive in accordance with the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions, then press the skirting firmly into place without stretching the profile or leaving gaps. Keep the upper edge straight and make sure the lower section sits neatly against the floorcovering.
Protect the fitted skirting until the adhesive has cured. Refer to the Quantum Q150 SO product information before installation.
