ARDITEX CL is a two-part levelling compound supplied as a 20kg bag of powder with a 4.5kg bottle of latex liquid. It is used to smooth and level internal subfloors before fitting carpet, LVT, vinyl, laminate, wood flooring or other suitable floor coverings.
It has a smooth flow when mixed, making it easier to spread across the floor and achieve an even surface. ARDITEX CL is suitable for common internal subfloors, including concrete, sand and cement screeds, and gypsum or anhydrite screeds.
This is a useful product for projects where time matters. The surface can take light foot traffic in around two hours, and most floor coverings can be fitted after approximately 12 hours, subject to site conditions and the floor covering manufacturer’s requirements.
It can be applied at depths of up to 10mm in one application and is suitable for use over heated screeds. That makes it a practical choice for both domestic and commercial floor-preparation work.
Make sure the subfloor is clean, stable and properly prepared before use. Always follow the relevant ARDEX mixing, priming and application guidance, particularly when working over absorbent or gypsum-based screeds.
