Expona Design should be fitted to a clean, dry and completely level subfloor using a Polyflor-approved adhesive. Where different formats or inlay details are being used, finalise the layout and cuts before installation to ensure the intended pattern flows cleanly through the space.
Polyflor Expona Design LVT is a premium glue-down flooring collection for projects that need strong visual impact as well as high-level performance. The range includes expressive wood, stone, slate, cement and abstract finishes, giving designers the scope to create a distinctive floor rather than simply a functional one.
A choice of plank and large-format tile sizes makes Expona Design especially useful for open commercial spaces, feature areas and more ambitious interior schemes. Coordinating inlay accessories can be used to introduce borders, zoning or bespoke details.
With a 3mm construction and a substantial 0.7mm wear layer, Expona Design PUR is built for heavily used commercial interiors as well as high-specification homes. Its PUR finish supports efficient day-to-day cleaning and long-term maintenance.
Polyflor Expona Design is a glue-down luxury vinyl tile and plank range. Store the material flat in the installation area and allow the flooring, adhesive and subfloor to acclimatise before fitting.
Prepare the subfloor so it is smooth, dry, clean, level and structurally sound. Complete moisture testing and any required smoothing, repair or damp-proofing work before installation. A carefully prepared subfloor is essential for a high-quality finished appearance.
Set out the selected design before applying adhesive, particularly where multiple formats, feature strips or bespoke layouts are being used. Apply a compatible adhesive in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, lay the tiles or planks within the working time and roll the floor thoroughly to ensure a complete bond.
Keep the floor clear of heavy traffic until the adhesive has cured and fitting is complete.

Maintain Expona Design LVT with frequent dry removal of dust, grit and debris. Sweep, vacuum or dry mop busy areas regularly, as loose particles can gradually affect the floor’s surface appearance.
For everyday cleaning, use a damp mop or appropriate mechanical cleaning equipment with a neutral cleaner suitable for vinyl floors. Treat spillages promptly and avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, solvent cleaners and unsuitable surface treatments.
Barrier mats at entrance points help reduce dirt and moisture being carried onto the floor. Use protective pads below furniture legs and take care when moving heavy items to avoid scuffs or indentation.
