Because it is a glue-down floor, thorough preparation is vital for a crisp result, particularly where planks, tiles or feature layouts are being combined. Polyflor Expona Commercial LVT is a high-performance glue-down flooring collection made for interiors where appearance and durability need to work equally hard. Its extensive choice of wood, stone, terrazzo, metal and abstract designs gives designers and property owners the freedom to create anything from a warm, welcoming reception to a crisp contemporary retail or workplace floor.
The collection includes a variety of plank and tile formats, plus selected parquet, Versailles and feature designs. This flexibility makes it suitable for straightforward layouts as well as more detailed schemes with borders, inlays or visual zoning.
With a 0.55mm wear layer and commercial-grade 2.5mm construction, Expona Commercial PUR is made for demanding spaces. The PUR surface finish supports practical daily maintenance, while the range is also suitable for busy residential projects.
Polyflor Expona Commercial is a glue-down luxury vinyl tile and plank range for commercial and residential interiors. Store the flooring flat and allow the material, adhesive and subfloor to acclimatise in the installation area before fitting.
The subfloor must be smooth, dry, clean, level and structurally sound. Complete moisture testing and any required damp-proofing, smoothing or repair work before installation, as irregularities in the subfloor may show through the finished LVT.
Set out the chosen plank, tile or pattern layout before applying adhesive. Use a compatible adhesive in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, lay the flooring within the stated working time and roll the completed installation thoroughly to secure a full, even bond.
Protect the floor from heavy traffic and furniture until the adhesive has cured.

Expona Commercial LVT should be maintained with regular removal of dust and abrasive grit. Sweep, vacuum or dry mop frequently, particularly around entrances, reception areas and high-traffic routes.
For routine cleaning, use a damp mop or suitable mechanical cleaning equipment with a neutral cleaner formulated for vinyl flooring. Remove spillages promptly and avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents and harsh cleaning agents.
Use good-quality entrance matting to reduce tracked-in dirt and moisture. Fit protective pads beneath furniture and use protective cups under concentrated loads to help reduce scratches and indentations.
