Before fitting, make sure the trim is suitable for the thickness and position of your flooring. Cut to the required length, place it neatly over the edge, then secure it with fixings appropriate for the subfloor.
The Lino Edge 3.2mm in gold is designed to give vinyl and lino flooring a clean, protected finish where it meets a doorway or another floor surface. Rather than leaving an exposed edge, this slim profile creates a neat line that helps the installation look properly completed.
Its polished gold finish adds warmth at the threshold and works particularly well with traditional interiors or matching gold door furniture. The 2.7m length is useful for wider openings, continuous runs or cutting into several shorter pieces for multiple rooms.
This profile is intended for floor coverings up to approximately 3.2mm thick. Confirm the finished flooring thickness before installation; do not force a thicker material beneath the trim, as this can prevent it from seating correctly.
Make sure the flooring is fully fitted and trimmed cleanly at the edge. The subfloor and surrounding area should be dry, sound and free from loose debris. Support the 2.7m length during handling to avoid bending the profile.
Measure and mark the required length, then cut with a suitable fine-tooth saw. Carefully remove any burrs and dry-fit the profile before fixing to check that it follows the flooring edge evenly.
Secure the trim using a fixing method appropriate to the subfloor, checking for pipes, cables and underfloor-heating components before drilling. The profile should sit firmly without crushing or restricting the floor covering. Inspect the completed edge for stability and a smooth finish.

Sweep or vacuum around the Lino Edge regularly to prevent dirt building up along the exposed flooring edge. Clean the gold surface with a soft cloth and a mild, neutral cleaner, then dry it after wiping.
Avoid abrasive pads, solvent cleaners and strong chemical products, as these may scratch or fade the polished finish. Remove spills promptly so moisture does not sit at the flooring transition.
Check the trim from time to time, particularly in frequently used doorways. Ensure the profile remains firmly fixed and that the flooring edge beneath it is secure.
