CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Grey is a versatile, hard-wearing solution for busy indoor entrances. The neutral grey shade fits easily into modern and traditional interiors, making it a reliable choice for office foyers, reception spaces, schools and public buildings.
Made from 100% polypropylene, Stockade has a structured linear fibre-bonded surface designed for heavy commercial use. Its gel rubber backing helps the matting remain stable once installed, while the 2 metre-wide sheet format provides a neat, continuous finish across wider entrance and lobby areas.
With a Class 33 heavy commercial rating and a 5-year commercial warranty, Stockade Grey is built to support areas that receive regular daily traffic. It provides a practical entrance layer while maintaining a clean, professional look.
Acclimatise the Grey 3901 CFS Stockade sheet in the installation area before fitting. Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, clean, smooth, level and stable. Remove dust, grease, paint, wax, old adhesive residues and loose material, then repair any defects before installation.
Inspect the 2m-wide sheet for correct colour, condition and dimensions. Plan the layout and make precise cuts around walls, door frames and permanent fittings, ensuring the matting can lie flat without being stretched or forced into position.
Use an adhesive compatible with gel-backed entrance matting, the prepared subfloor and the expected level of traffic. Spread the adhesive evenly, follow the manufacturer’s advised working and curing times, then lay the sheet accurately and roll it to secure full contact and eliminate air pockets.
Fit appropriate edge or transition profiles where the matting meets other flooring. Keep the installation clear of heavy footfall until the adhesive has fully cured.

Maintain CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Grey with frequent vacuuming to remove dirt, grit and loose debris before it is carried beyond the entrance. Give particular attention to the central walking path and external door areas, especially during periods of wet weather.
Blot liquid spills promptly using a clean absorbent cloth. For stubborn marks, use a cleaner suitable for polypropylene entrance matting and follow the specified dilution and application method. Avoid excessive wetting, steam cleaning, abrasive brushes, bleach and solvent-based products.
Include periodic deep cleaning in the floorcare schedule for heavily used entrances. Check that edges, thresholds and adjoining floor transitions remain securely bonded, flat and safe underfoot.
