Tarkett PVC Welding Rod is a 50m coil designed for hot-welding compatible vinyl flooring seams. Once correctly welded, it creates a clean, continuous joint that helps complete the installation neatly and supports the performance of the floor in larger or more demanding areas.
It is particularly useful where vinyl flooring is installed in wet areas or across extensive commercial spaces. Choose a rod colour that coordinates with the selected flooring design for a more discreet, professionally finished seam.
Before welding, ensure the vinyl is fully installed and the seams are correctly grooved in line with the flooring manufacturer’s instructions. Use professional hot-welding equipment at the appropriate temperature, then trim the weld rod carefully to achieve a smooth finish. Always confirm that the selected rod is compatible with the chosen Tarkett vinyl floor.
