Install CFS Stockade Brown onto a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Plan the direction of the linear pattern before cutting, then fit the sheet carefully to achieve a consistent finish. Vacuum regularly to remove surface debris and maintain the appearance of the entrance area.
CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Brown is a hard-wearing choice for busy doorways, reception areas and interior access points. The warm brown colour gives entrances a more traditional, grounded finish while offering the commercial performance needed in spaces that see regular daily footfall.
Made from 100% polypropylene, Stockade has a structured linear fibre-bonded surface designed for entrance use. Its gel rubber backing gives the sheet a stable base once fitted, and the 2 metre-wide format is ideal for creating a continuous, professional finish across larger foyer and lobby areas.
With a Class 33 heavy commercial rating and a 5-year commercial warranty, CFS Stockade Brown is built for demanding interiors. It is a sensible option for helping control the dirt and light moisture brought in on footwear before it reaches the main floor covering.
Acclimatise the Brown 3300 CFS Stockade sheet in the installation space before fitting. Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, clean, smooth, level and structurally stable. Remove all dust, grease, paint, wax, old adhesives and loose material, then repair any defects that could affect the finished surface.
Check the 2m-wide sheet for correct colour, dimensions and condition before cutting. Plan the layout carefully and trim accurately around walls, doorway frames and fixed objects. The matting should lie flat and free from tension before it is bonded.
Fully adhere the gel-backed matting with an adhesive compatible with the backing, prepared subfloor and expected traffic conditions. Apply it evenly and follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions for spread rate, open time, working time and curing. Roll the sheet after laying to create a consistent bond and remove any trapped air.
Finish exposed edges and transitions with suitable trim profiles. Keep the newly installed area free from heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured.

Vacuum CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Brown routinely to remove grit, dust and loose debris from the structured fibre surface. Clean more frequently during wet weather and in high-use access areas to reduce the amount of dirt carried into the building.
Blot spills straight away using a clean absorbent cloth. For further cleaning, select a product suitable for polypropylene entrance matting and follow the label directions. Avoid harsh solvents, bleach, steam cleaning and abrasive brushes, and do not leave the sheet excessively wet.
Schedule periodic deep cleaning when surface vacuuming no longer removes embedded soil. Include an inspection of the matting’s edges, thresholds and joints in the routine, resolving any movement or wear promptly.
