Fit CFS Plaza Brown onto a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Plan the direction of the linear pattern before cutting for a consistent finish. Regular vacuuming will help clear loose dirt and keep the matting looking neat.
CFS Plaza Entrance Matting in Brown 7097 is a hard-wearing entrance solution with a warmer, more traditional appearance. The rich brown tone gives entrances, lobbies and reception spaces a grounded look while remaining practical for areas that receive regular daily foot traffic.
The matting has a structured linear, fibre-bonded surface made from 100% polypropylene. Its dense construction is suited to demanding commercial interiors, and the impervious gel backing provides a stable, dependable base after fitting. Supplied in a 2 metre-wide sheet, it is ideal for creating a neat continuous finish in larger entrance areas.
CFS Plaza Brown is a sensible choice where you need strong commercial performance but prefer a darker, warmer colour than grey or black. It is easy to maintain and built to support busy public-facing environments.
Before fitting, allow the Brown 7097 matting to acclimatise in the installation space. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and stable, with all dust, grease, paint, wax, loose residues and old adhesives removed. Repair or level the base before installing the 2m-wide sheet.
Confirm the material is correct and undamaged before any cuts are made. Set out the sheet carefully, then trim accurately around walls, doorway frames and fixed items. Keep the matting flat and free from tension during fitting.
Fully bond the gel-backed entrance matting with an adhesive suitable for the backing, prepared subfloor and anticipated use. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s stated application rate, open time and curing requirements. Roll the sheet after laying to establish full contact and avoid air pockets or ripples.
Complete exposed edges with suitable transition or edge profiles. Do not subject the fitted matting to heavy traffic until the adhesive has achieved full cure.

Vacuum CFS Plaza Entrance Matting in Brown 7097 regularly to remove the grit and loose debris it collects at the entrance. Give extra attention to principal walking routes and doorways during wet weather, helping the matting maintain a cleaner transition into the building.
For spills, blot immediately with a clean absorbent cloth. Treat any remaining marks using a suitable polypropylene-safe entrance-matting cleaner, applied in line with its instructions. Avoid abrasive scrubbing, bleach, solvent-based products and excessive moisture.
Schedule deeper cleaning where traffic is consistently heavy, and inspect the sheet’s edges and adjacent threshold details as part of the process. Prompt attention to lifting edges or wear helps keep the entrance area safe and presentable.
