Install on a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Before cutting, plan the position and direction of the structured pattern to achieve a consistent finish. Vacuum regularly to remove surface dirt and help keep the matting working effectively.

The matting is made from 100% polypropylene with a structured fibre-bonded chevron surface. This creates a textured, hard-wearing finish suited to heavy commercial foot traffic. The gel rubber backing provides stability once fitted, and the 2 metre-wide sheet format allows for a neat, continuous installation across wider access areas.
New Drever Dark Blue is ideal where you want the entrance to feel smart and purposeful from the first step inside. Its strong commercial specification makes it a dependable choice for high-use indoor doorways, lobbies and reception areas.
Bring the Dark Blue 0802 matting into the installation area and allow it to acclimatise before cutting or bonding. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound. Remove all dust, grease, paint, wax, loose material and old adhesive residues, and repair any uneven areas beforehand.
Measure the space carefully and plan the 2m-wide sheet layout before fitting. Make precise cuts around walls, door frames and fixed features, ensuring the matting lies flat and is not stretched or forced into position.
Use a fully compatible adhesive system for gel-backed entrance matting and the prepared subfloor. Apply the adhesive evenly, follow the stated open time and working time, then lay the sheet accurately. Roll the surface after fitting as recommended to achieve an even bond and remove trapped air.
Use suitable edge trims where the matting terminates or joins another floorcovering. Keep the installation free from heavy footfall and movable loads until the adhesive has cured fully.

Vacuum CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Dark Blue regularly to remove loose grit, debris and moisture from the fibre-bonded surface. Increase cleaning frequency during wet weather and in high-footfall settings to help prevent dirt from travelling to adjacent floor areas.
Tackle spills immediately by blotting with a clean, absorbent cloth. Use an appropriate polypropylene matting cleaner for any remaining marks, taking care to follow the dilution instructions. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemical products, steam cleaning and excessive wetting.
Arrange periodic deep cleaning where the entrance receives sustained traffic. Inspect the matting surface, edges and thresholds routinely so signs of wear or loss of adhesion can be corrected promptly.
