For the best result, fit Heather Twist Elite over a good-quality underlay with gripper around the room perimeter. Make sure the subfloor is dry, clean, smooth and stable before fitting, and allow the carpet to acclimatise in the room before installation.
Lano Heather Twist Elite is a deep, comfortable twist-pile carpet made for homes that need a little more softness without compromising on day-to-day durability. Its heathered yarn brings subtle variation through the colour, helping the carpet feel warm and textured rather than flat.
With a generous pile weight and heavy-domestic classification, it is well suited to busy family rooms, halls and stairs as well as quieter bedrooms. The solution-dyed polypropylene yarn is practical for everyday living, and the dual backing gives the carpet stability during fitting.
Lano Heather Twist Elite is a tufted carpet with secondary backing and solution-dyed pile yarn. Check the carpet for the correct colour, batch and condition before cutting, and allow it to acclimatise in the installation room.
Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, clean, smooth and structurally secure. For a conventional domestic installation, fit a suitable carpet underlay and perimeter gripper, ensuring that both are compatible with the subfloor and carpet construction.
Set out the carpet with all sections running in the same pile direction. Measure carefully around doorways, stairs and room features, and plan joins so they are positioned away from principal traffic routes wherever practical.
Stretch-fit the carpet evenly onto the gripper, ensuring there are no ripples or loose edges. Seam sections using an appropriate carpet-seaming system, trim accurately at the perimeter and finish doorways with suitable transition profiles.

Vacuum Heather Twist Elite regularly to keep dry soil from settling into the twist pile. Concentrate on entrances, stairs and main walkways, where regular vacuuming will help the carpet keep a more even appearance.
For spills, act quickly and blot with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing or using strong household chemicals. If further treatment is required, use a carpet cleaner that is suitable for the fibre type and test it first in an inconspicuous area.
Arrange professional cleaning at intervals appropriate to the room’s traffic level. Use furniture cups beneath heavy pieces and lift furniture when moving it to help protect the pile and avoid stressing seams.
