Balta Gala is a practical loop pile carpet made for the everyday demands of a busy home. Crafted from 100% polypropylene, it is naturally stain resistant, easy to care for and well suited to rooms where family life, pets or regular foot traffic call for a hard-working floor.
The range combines plain and striped loop-pile designs in a selection of rich, natural and neutral shades, so it can work just as well in a relaxed bedroom as it can in a hallway or living room. Its textured surface gives the carpet a smart, grounded look, while the medium domestic rating makes it a dependable choice for general use around the home.
Allow the carpet to acclimatise in the installation area before fitting. The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth and secure, with all loose material, old fixings and surface defects removed or repaired beforehand.
Balta Gala is available with different backing options, so the fitting method must suit the specific product supplied. Felt-back versions can be installed using an adhesive appropriate to the subfloor and carpet backing, while secondary-back versions are generally fitted over suitable underlay with gripper.
Take care to align any striped design consistently across doorways and adjoining rooms. Trim the carpet accurately at walls and thresholds, then fit suitable doorbars or edge trims to complete the installation.

Vacuum Balta Gala regularly to remove dry soil from the loop pile before it becomes embedded. Use a vacuum setting suitable for loop-pile carpet and avoid aggressive rotating brushes that may catch or damage the yarn loops.
Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing them into the pile. Use a carpet cleaner suitable for polypropylene fibre, testing it first in an inconspicuous area. Do not pull loose loops; trim them carefully level with the pile instead.
