Balta Heritage Exquisite is a deep, comfortable twist pile carpet made for homes that need a softer feel without giving up everyday practicality. The dense 100% polypropylene pile gives it a warm, inviting appearance and makes it a strong choice for rooms that see regular family use.
With a heavy domestic rating, Heritage Exquisite is suitable for busier spaces as well as quieter rooms. Its stain-resistant, bleach-cleanable fibres make day-to-day care easier, while the 9mm pile adds a plush finish that works beautifully with a quality carpet underlay.
Before fitting, allow the carpet to acclimatise in the installation room. The subfloor must be dry, clean, smooth and sound, with loose material, protrusions and uneven areas repaired before installation.
Heritage Exquisite has a secondary backing and should be fitted over a suitable carpet underlay with gripper around the room perimeter. Lay the underlay first, tape its joins and ensure it is neatly trimmed, then stretch-fit the carpet evenly to minimise rippling and achieve a secure finish.
Trim accurately at walls, doorways and thresholds, using suitable doorbars or edge trims to complete the installation. The range is made for heavy domestic use; follow the carpet and underlay manufacturers’ latest fitting guidance throughout.

Vacuum Balta Heritage Exquisite regularly to lift dry soil before it settles into the twist pile. For spills, act promptly: blot with a clean, absorbent cloth and avoid rubbing, which can spread the stain or affect the pile appearance.
The polypropylene fibres are designed for practical stain care. Use a cleaning method suitable for bleach-cleanable polypropylene carpet and follow the cleaner or manufacturer’s dilution instructions. Always test any treatment on a concealed area first.
