Appearance Retention
Designed for good appearance retention
For the best comfort and long-term performance, fit Lano Fascination over a quality carpet underlay with gripper around the room perimeter. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and smooth, and allow the carpet to acclimatise before fitting.
Lano Fascination is a plush twist-pile carpet that gives a room a noticeably softer, more luxurious feel without sacrificing everyday practicality. Its dense two-ply Eccelena yarn gives the surface a fuller appearance and helps it hold its shape well in the parts of the home that see regular use.
The range is made from solution-dyed polypropylene, so it is a sensible choice for busy households as well as more relaxed spaces. With a generous 9.5 mm pile and a 12 mm overall thickness, Fascination brings warmth and comfort to bedrooms, lounges, stairs and family living areas.
Lano Fascination is a tufted carpet with a secondary backing. Before fitting, inspect the carpet for the correct colour, batch and condition, then allow it to acclimatise in the installation room.
Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, clean, smooth, stable and free from loose material. For a comfortable, durable domestic installation, use a suitable carpet underlay with perimeter gripper. Select the gripper type to suit the subfloor construction.
Plan the layout and trimming carefully, taking account of the direction of the pile and the position of joins. Where seams are required, join them using an appropriate carpet-seaming method and keep them away from the heaviest traffic where practical.
Stretch the carpet evenly onto the gripper, secure all edges and trim neatly at doorways using suitable finishing profiles. Do not place heavy furniture or allow regular traffic on the carpet until installation is complete and all seams are secure.

Vacuum Lano Fascination regularly to lift surface dust and maintain the look of its tufted pile. Use a vacuum setting suited to cut-pile carpet and give entrances, walkways and other frequently used areas extra attention.
Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth, working from the outside towards the centre. Avoid rubbing the fibres. Use a carpet-cleaning product appropriate for the pile material and follow its instructions for testing, dilution and drying.
Arrange periodic professional cleaning where traffic levels demand it. Use furniture pads beneath heavy items and avoid dragging furniture across the carpet, which can disturb the pile and place stress on seams.
