Ensure the substrate is sound, stable and free from dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants before repair work begins. Prime where required by the substrate condition and application thickness, then mix only the amount that can be used within the working time. Apply with a suitable smoothing trowel and allow the repaired area to dry before installing the final floor covering.
UZIN NC 182 is a rapid, low-slump repair mortar for patching, filling and repairing internal subfloors before levelling or installing a final floor covering. Its fine-grain formulation makes it especially useful for bringing holes, local damage and uneven areas back to a smooth, sound condition.
Designed for fast-moving flooring projects, it can receive floor coverings after approximately 60 minutes in suitable conditions. The mortar can be re-mixed during its working time, giving installers added flexibility when carrying out detailed repair work.
UZIN NC 182 is a moisture-resistant, low-slump rapid repair mortar for internal floor repairs. It is suitable for patching, filling holes, repairing damage and creating feather edges before levelling or floorcovering work.
Prepare the substrate so it is sound, load-bearing, dry and free from cracks, dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants. It can be used on a broad range of suitable floor backgrounds, including cementitious and calcium sulphate screeds, concrete, boards, existing tiles and sound older surfaces. Select a suitable UZIN primer where required, particularly for deeper repairs.
Mix only the quantity needed with clean water to the desired working consistency. For a full 20kg bag, use approximately 4.6–5.4L of water; for smaller mixes, use 230–270ml per kilogram of powder. Apply the mortar firmly into the repair, smooth the surface and feather edges where needed.
The mortar remains workable for around 15–20 minutes and can be re-mixed during this period. At 20°C, it is typically walkable after around 25 minutes and ready to receive floorcoverings after approximately 60 minutes. Refer to the UZIN NC 182 product information before installation.

UZIN NC 182 is a repair mortar and should be kept clean, dry and protected once it has set. Prevent dust, moisture, impact damage and unnecessary site traffic from affecting repaired areas before the smoothing compound or final floorcovering is applied.
Before moving to the next stage, inspect patches, filled holes and feathered edges for a firm, even finish. The completed floorcovering, rather than the repair mortar, will determine the ongoing maintenance routine.
