Make sure the carpet edges are clean and accurately cut before application. Apply a controlled bead of adhesive along the required seam area, work within the stated open time and align the carpet edges carefully. Check the floor-covering manufacturer’s recommendations for suitability before use.
STYCCOBOND F30 is a synthetic rubber-resin adhesive for sealing clean-cut carpet edges before they are joined. It helps create tidier carpet seams and can reduce fibre loss along the cut edge.
The compact 500ml pack is well suited to smaller installations, repairs and detailed fitting work. With an open time of up to 15 minutes, it allows sufficient working time to align and finish carpet joins accurately.
STYCCOBOND F30 is a synthetic rubber/resin adhesive for seaming clean-cut carpet edges. It is designed to help create a neat join and reduce fibre loss along the seam.
Ensure carpet edges are accurately trimmed, dry and free from dust or loose fibres. Select a seaming method that is suitable for the carpet type, and check the manufacturer’s adhesive recommendation before beginning work.
Apply the adhesive carefully along the prepared carpet edges, using an even and controlled amount. Bring the edges together accurately within the open time, taking care to avoid adhesive reaching the pile surface or creating an uneven join.
At 20°C, STYCCOBOND F30 has an open time of up to 15 minutes. Coverage is approximately 100 linear metres per litre, depending on application.

Keep the carpet seam protected while STYCCOBOND F30 develops its bond. Avoid pulling, stretching or placing heavy traffic directly over the joint until the carpet installation is complete.
Remove unwanted adhesive from tools and surrounding surfaces promptly using the cleaning method specified by F. Ball. Maintain the fitted carpet in line with its own manufacturer’s care instructions.
