UltraFloor Prime IT Multi-surface Primer is a water-based acrylic primer, sealer and bonding aid for preparing subfloors before applying compatible UltraFloor smoothing underlayments. Suitable for both porous and non-porous surfaces, it helps create a more consistent base for the next stage of the flooring installation.
Its moisture-tolerant formulation improves adhesion, reduces surface absorbency and helps minimise pinholing in smoothing compounds. The 5L container can cover up to 200m² when diluted at 3:1, depending on the substrate and required application method.
Ensure the substrate is sound, clean and free from dust, grease and loose material before use. Follow the stated dilution and coat requirements for the surface type, then allow the primer to dry fully before applying the smoothing underlayment. Always check the current technical data for compatibility and site-specific preparation requirements.
