Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, smooth, sound and free from dust, grease and loose material. Apply the adhesive evenly using the trowel recommended for the flooring, then allow it to dry to a tacky film before fitting. Press or roll the floor covering thoroughly to secure full contact.
STYCCOBOND F46 is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC sheet and tile flooring, including LVT. It dries to a tacky film that provides reliable initial grab and allows precise placement of design flooring.
The 5-litre pack is ideal for smaller rooms, repairs and focused installation work. Its long working window after drying makes it a practical option where careful alignment and a clean vinyl finish are important.
STYCCOBOND F46 5L is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC sheet and tile floorcoverings, including many LVT and design-floor products. It dries to a permanently tacky film that provides strong initial grab and high bond strength.
Ensure the subfloor is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants. Use an appropriate smoothing compound where needed, particularly where a very smooth finish is required beneath thin vinyl flooring.
Apply the adhesive evenly with the trowel suitable for the floorcovering. Allow the coating to dry to a tacky film before placing the vinyl or LVT, then press or roll the material firmly into place to secure even contact throughout.
At 20°C, drying normally takes approximately 40 minutes. Once dry, F46 offers an infinite open time; approximate coverage ranges from 3m² to 5m² per litre, depending on the trowel used.

Once the floor has been installed, protect it from heavy use, furniture movement and wet cleaning until the adhesive has formed a secure bond. Remove any wet adhesive from tools and nearby finishes promptly in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidance.
Thereafter, maintain the vinyl or LVT surface using the cleaning products and methods recommended for that floorcovering. Avoid excessive water at joins, cut edges and perimeter details.
