The Family Floor Gin Tonic is a medium European oak floor with a brushed texture and UV-lacquered finish. Prime-grade boards and square edges create a restrained, contemporary look that lets the natural oak grain take centre stage.
At 9mm thick, the floor combines a 0.6mm oak veneer with a birch plywood core and 1.5mm cork underlayer. The 178mm x 1500mm boards use a 5G Fold Down click system for floating-floor installation.
Acclimatise unopened packs in the installation area before use. The base should be dry, clean, level and structurally sound, with any moisture or flatness issues corrected first.
Lay the boards as a floating floor through the 5G Fold Down click joint. Retain the required expansion gap around walls, door frames, pipes and fixed furniture, and stagger joints as directed.
Where underfloor heating is used, follow the heating system’s commissioning procedure and the flooring manufacturer’s limits.

Sweep or vacuum often to reduce abrasive dirt. Use a lightly damp microfibre mop and a suitable wood-floor cleaner, and wipe away spills quickly. Do not use steam cleaning, soaking wet mops or abrasive scouring materials.
Protect entrances with mats and fit felt pads to moveable furniture. Avoid dragging items across the floor and keep indoor humidity within a stable normal range.
