The Family Floor Engineered Walnut Flooring offers the naturally rich colour and expressive grain of walnut in a slim, easy-to-handle plank. Its dark prime-grade appearance and brushed, UV-lacquered surface give rooms a refined wood finish with a clean square-edged profile.
Each 9mm board combines a 0.6mm walnut veneer, engineered birch plywood core and natural cork underlayer. The 5G Fold Down click system supports a floating installation, while the 178mm x 1500mm format gives a balanced, contemporary plank layout.
Store unopened packs flat in the fitting room to acclimatise before installation. The base must be dry, clean, level and structurally sound, with moisture conditions checked for the subfloor and the installation system.
Install as a floating floor using the integrated 5G Fold Down joint. Keep the boards free from direct restraint and leave the required expansion space around walls, pipes, door frames and fixed kitchen units. Follow the supplied layout and joint-staggering guidance.
The flooring is suitable for compatible underfloor heating systems. Follow the heating supplier’s commissioning process and the flooring instructions for safe operating temperatures.

Vacuum or sweep frequently to remove particles that can mark the lacquered surface. Use a damp not wet microfibre mop with a suitable wood-floor cleaner, and wipe up spills without delay. Do not use steam cleaners, abrasive products or excessive water.
Protect the floor with entrance mats and felt protectors beneath furniture. Maintain stable room conditions and avoid dragging heavy furniture across the surface.
