Natura Reclaimed Herringbone Solid Oak Flooring uses solid 18mm oak blocks to create a timeless patterned floor. Its dark rustic grade, brushed texture and oiled surface retain the natural marks and variation that give reclaimed-style timber its individual appeal.
The 90mm x 500mm blocks have micro-bevelled edges to articulate the herringbone pattern. This is a real-wood option for interiors where the floor itself is intended to be a defining design feature.
Acclimatise the solid oak blocks before work starts. The subfloor must be dry, flat, sound and moisture-tested, and the room should be suitable for a real wood floor. This product must not be installed over underfloor heating.
Professional setting-out is recommended for herringbone. Establish a square centre or datum line, dry-lay the first sections to check the pattern, then secure the blocks by the specified nailed or glued-down method. Retain the required expansion allowance around the room perimeter.
Follow the current fitting guidance for the chosen adhesive or fixing method.

Vacuum or sweep routinely with a suitable soft hard-floor attachment, taking care to remove dirt from the joints. Wipe away spills promptly and use only a lightly damp mop with a cleaner intended for oiled wood floors. Do not use steam, excessive water or abrasive cleaning products.
Refresh the oil finish when the surface appears dry or loses protection, using a compatible maintenance product. Use entrance mats and furniture protectors to reduce scratches and grit damage.
