The Family Floor Cuba libre is a grey-toned European oak floor that brings a contemporary, muted wood look to interiors. The brushed, UV-lacquered prime-grade boards have square edges, allowing the colour and grain to flow cleanly from plank to plank.
The 9mm construction features a 0.6mm oak veneer, birch plywood core and natural cork underlayer. The 178mm x 1500mm format and 5G Fold Down click joint make it suited to floating installations.
Acclimatise unopened packs on a flat surface in the installation room. Make sure the subfloor is clean, dry, level and structurally sound, with moisture risks resolved before laying.
Use the 5G Fold Down click joint to install this product as a floating floor. Leave the correct expansion allowance at walls, pipes, door frames and fixed units, and follow the recommended board-staggering pattern.
If used with underfloor heating, comply with the heating system’s commissioning and temperature-control requirements.
