Mix both components thoroughly in the specified ratio before use. Apply to a smooth, dry and sound substrate using the recommended fine-notch trowel, then fit the compatible floor covering within the working time. Follow the flooring manufacturer’s guidance for temperature exposure and installation requirements.
STYCCOBOND F49 Hybrid PS is a two-part, water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive for PVC floor coverings exposed to demanding temperature changes. It is designed for applications such as conservatories and rooms with extensive glazing, where service temperatures can vary significantly.
The 2kg kit is a practical size for smaller specialist installations. Once mixed, it provides strong initial grab, durable bonding and water resistance, making it suitable for compatible wet-room flooring systems as well as high-temperature areas.
STYCCOBOND F49 2kg is a two-part, water-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC floorcoverings in sheet and tile form. It is temperature tolerant and well suited to locations exposed to significant temperature changes, including conservatories and spaces with full-height glazing.
Prepare the subfloor so it is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Check the floorcovering manufacturer’s adhesive recommendation and ensure all moisture-control and surface-preparation work has been completed before starting.
Mix the two supplied components thoroughly in accordance with the current F. Ball technical data sheet. Apply the mixed adhesive evenly with a suitable fine-notch trowel, allow it to dry to its tacky film, then fit and roll the flooring to establish full contact. It can also be used for compatible PVC edging, flexible skirting, coving and capping.
Once mixed, F49 has an open time of up to four hours and a drying time from approximately 20 minutes, depending on conditions. Coverage is up to 6m² per kg using an A1 fine-notch trowel.

Allow STYCCOBOND F49 HYBRID PS to cure fully before allowing heavy traffic, moving furniture or carrying out regular wet cleaning. Once cured, its water resistance makes it suitable for appropriately designed wet-room environments.
Maintain the finished PVC floorcovering using its manufacturer’s recommended cleaning routine. Clean spillages promptly and protect the installation from damage at seams, floor edges, coving and capping details.
