Apply to a subfloor that is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease and loose material. Spread evenly with the recommended trowel, fit the floor covering within the working time and press or roll it firmly into place. Check the flooring manufacturer’s guidance to confirm adhesive compatibility before installation.
STYCCOBOND F48 PLUS is a fibre-reinforced, high-temperature adhesive for compatible vinyl and rubber floor coverings. It is designed for areas exposed to strong solar gain or elevated temperatures, where additional heat and plasticiser resistance is required.
The 15-litre pack provides strong grab and fast drying for larger installations. It is suitable for homes and commercial spaces with conservatories, large glazed areas or floor-to-ceiling windows.
STYCCOBOND F48 PLUS 15L is a solvent-free, fibre-reinforced adhesive for compatible plasticised PVC and rubber floorcoverings in sheet or tile form. Its high temperature tolerance makes it particularly suitable for areas affected by solar gain, such as conservatories and rooms with large areas of glazing.
Prepare the subfloor so it is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Suitable backgrounds include compatible smoothing compounds, concrete, sand/cement screeds, plywood and hardboard. Non-absorbent surfaces require the preparation specified by F. Ball.
Spread the adhesive evenly with an A2 or 1.5mm x 5mm notched trowel. Floorcoverings can be installed from approximately five minutes after application, with an open time of up to 30 minutes at 20°C. Press or roll the flooring firmly into the adhesive to achieve full contact.
Typical coverage is approximately 5.5m² per litre with the recommended trowel.

Protect the newly installed floor from traffic, heavy furniture and wet cleaning while STYCCOBOND F48 PLUS develops its bond. Remove any uncured adhesive from tools and surrounding finishes promptly, following the manufacturer’s directions.
Once the installation is in service, clean and maintain the vinyl or rubber floorcovering in accordance with its own care guidance. Deal with spills promptly and avoid excessive water at joints, seams and exposed edges.
