Ensure the subfloor is smooth, sound, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material before installation. Apply the adhesive evenly using the recommended trowel, lay the floor covering within the open time and press it firmly into place. Always follow the floor-covering manufacturer’s fitting instructions.
STYCCOBOND F3 is a water-based adhesive for securely fitting compatible textile floor coverings. It offers strong initial grab, helping carpet and textile materials stay in position while the bond develops.
The 15-litre tub is suited to larger flooring projects. Its formulation is resistant to bio-degradation and can withstand wet cleaning once cured, making it a practical choice for a wide range of internal carpet installations.
STYCCOBOND F3 is a water-based textile flooring adhesive with high initial grab. It is suitable for compatible fibre-bonded carpets, hessian, felt, secondary-latex and rubber-foam-backed carpets, plus cork tiles up to 3.2mm thick.
Ensure the subfloor is sound, smooth, dry and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Prepare uneven backgrounds with a suitable smoothing compound and confirm the adhesive is compatible with the chosen floorcovering before application.
Spread the adhesive evenly with a 2mm x 6mm notched trowel. Lay the flooring into the wet adhesive while it remains within the open time, taking care to avoid trapped air and to achieve consistent contact between the backing and adhesive.
At 20°C, STYCCOBOND F3 has an open time of up to 15 minutes. Typical coverage is approximately 3m² per litre using the recommended trowel.

Remove wet STYCCOBOND F3 from tools and nearby surfaces as soon as possible, following the product guidance. Protect the newly fitted floorcovering from heavy traffic, furniture movement and wet cleaning until the adhesive has developed its bond.
Once the installation has cured, follow the care instructions for the carpet or textile floorcovering. Regular vacuuming and suitable cleaning will help maintain its appearance and performance.
