Ensure the wall and subfloor are clean, dry, smooth and sound before fitting. Fix the profile with a suitable contact adhesive, then install the flooring in accordance with the floorcovering manufacturer’s instructions. Professional installation is recommended for the cleanest and most secure finish.
Quantum CCF1 is a combined cove former and capping profile for creating a tidy transition between resilient floorcoverings and internal walls. It supports the flooring as it curves up the wall, while the integrated capping edge gives the cut top edge a cleaner finish.
Made from PVC and supplied in a 2m length, this practical finishing accessory helps reduce fitting time compared with using separate cove former and capping components. It is ideal for commercial interiors where hygienic, easy-to-clean wall-to-floor detailing is required.
Quantum CCF1 is a 2m combined capping and cove former that supports resilient sheet flooring as it is dressed up the wall, while creating a neat finish at the trimmed upper edge. It is intended for use at wall-to-floor junctions, not as a standalone decorative trim.
Ensure the wall and floor are clean, dry, sound and free from dust before fitting. Check that the wall is suitably flat and forms a consistent angle with the floor so the profile can create an even, regular cove.
Measure and cut the profile accurately, dry-fit it where necessary, then bond it using a contact adhesive compatible with PVC profiles and the selected flooring system. Keep the cove straight and consistent, avoiding voids beneath the profile or floorcovering.
Fit the resilient flooring carefully over the cove and into the cap detail, completing any required seam welding and finishing work in accordance with the flooring manufacturer’s guidance

Quantum CCF1 is a PVC combined cap and cove profile, designed to remain as part of a finished resilient-floor installation. Clean the visible profile alongside the adjoining wall and floor using a soft cloth or mop with a mild, compatible cleaner.
Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents and aggressive scraping, as these can mark the PVC surface or damage the seal at the wall-to-floor junction. During routine cleaning, check that the profile remains securely bonded and that the floorcovering edge is intact.
Where the installation forms part of a hygiene-sensitive area, address any damage or separation promptly to preserve a cleanable finish.
